This easy caramel sauce is the perfect addition to your favorite cake, and you can even drizzle it over ice cream.

Ingredients
1 c sugar
½ c heavy cream
6 Tbsp. unsalted butter, room temperature
1 tsp. Vanilla extract
½ tsp. sea salt
180 mg CBD oil
Preparation
Step 1
Cook sugar in a medium saucepan over medium low heat until it's completely melted, swirling the pan gently every 20 seconds or so. The sugar will start to form clumps before melting slowly. Be patient and keep an eye on it to make sure it does not burn.
Step 2
Once melted, remove from heat immediately and stir in the butter. The mixture should begin to bubble.
Step 3
Next, pour in the heavy cream and ½ teaspoon of the sea salt. Stir until everything is combined.
Step 4
Pour into a small bowl or cup and allow to cool completely before using.
