Cannabis Infused BBQ Sauce Recipe

Here’s another recipe as we officially wrap up the warmer months and say goodbye to summer. Whether it's summer or not, I promise you will want to try this BBQ sauce next time you decide to grill. It’s the perfect sweet and tangy addition to any protein. And what’s more is that it’s pretty simple to prepare.

1 ¼ c Ketchup

3 tablespoons Apple Cider Vinegar

2 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce

3 tablespoons canna butter

3 tablespoons Molasses

⅓ c Dark Brown Sugar or Cannabis Infused Honey

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon Garlic Powder

1 heaping teaspoon - Onion Powder

½ teaspoon Smoked Paprika

¼ teaspoon Mustard Powder

¼ teaspoon Chili Powder

¼ teaspoon Red Chili Flakes (Optional)

Pinch of Black Pepper (to taste)

Water to thin as needed

Stovetop Directions:

Place all ingredients in a sauce pot and whisk to combine. Bring to a light simmer and reduce heat to low, simmering for 10-15 minutes. Whisk every 5 minutes.

Use warm sauce immediately or remove it from heat and let it rest until room temperature. Place in your favorite airtight container/jar, and use/store in the fridge for up to 7 days.

Tip: To calculate dosage, divide your BBQ sauce into six portions. Depending on how many milligrams of THC or CBD were in your cannabis butter divide by six to obtain the dosage per portion.
